Dr. Keesha Karriem is a college professor and EI and Stress Coach/Facilitator. She is also Executive Director of a family-owned business that provides residential care to persons with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
As a mother, aunt, entrepreneur, government worker and college professor she is committed to instilling the values of truth and honesty.
Dr. Karriem was born in Chicago, Illinois, obtained her Doctorate Degree from University of Phoenix and completed her dissertation on Stress and Emotional Intelligence (EI). Her analysis shows how EI contributes to significant life outcomes, such as better decision making and improved learning skills. EI helped her to cope and win against discrimination.
After becoming an aunt of two beautiful twin girls she decided to create inspiring books that teach both young and old about Emotional Intelligence, diversity, values: and those with special needs.
Dr. Karriem believes that we were all children once; bursting with endless dreams and unlimited potential. We are all unique with exceptional gifts and talents. She hopes this book sheds a small light on the wondrous possibilities that reading a book can have on a child’s imagination.
Dr. Karriem believes that “Education and Empathy are the keys to Happiness and Success.”
